About the Program


The City of Show Low Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational sports activities for the youth of our community. All leagues are played at either local public school facilities or city-owned parks. Leagues include:

Itty Bitty Olympics


  • 2017 Itty Bitty Olympics June 3, 2017
  • 9 a.m. registration
  • 9:30 a.m. event commences
  • Show Low City Park's Senior Field
  • $5 per participant
Your children can now take part in the friendliest pint sized  competition around at the Itty Bitty Olympics. Olympians will compete by age groups and enjoy a variety of games like a t-ball toss and obstacle course. This event is sponsored by Jill Tinkel's State Farm Insurance.  Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Show Low City Park's Ponderosa Field.    
 

Mini Mud Run

Lil Runners should get ready for some good clean fun at the Mini Mud Run's Pirates Cove.  Mini athletes will run, climb, crawl and jump through mud, water and dirt to find the finish line.  This event is for kids ages 2 to 10.  Run will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. with check in starting at 9:30 a.m.  Pre-registration is required so stop by Show Low City Hall or the Show Low Family Aquatic Center  to register.   For additional information call 928-532-4140.


Youth Tri in the Pines


This race is held in conjunction with the Tri In The Pines Triathlon. This event is for youth ages 14 and under.  The youth race starts with a 175-yard swim at the Aquatic Center, followed by a 4-mile bike ride on city streets, and finishes with a 1-mile run in Show Low City Park.
