The City of Show Low recognizes the following holidays:
- New Years Eve 1/2 of a day (4 Hours) when New Year's Day falls on a Tuesday through Friday

Probationary Period
There is a 1 year probationary period for new employees.
Arizona State Retirement System
The Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) program is mandatory for all full-time employees who are not certified police officers. This will cause a deduction of approximately 11.80% of employee gross wages. 11.64% is ASRS and .16% is Long Term Disability.
Wellness Program
The wellness program includes an annual health workup as well a flu shot in the Fall. Various fitness programs may be offered for voluntary participation.

Employee Cell Phone Program
Employees are given the option to participate in a government rate plan with a cellular phone provided in Show Low. Please check with Human Resources for more information.

Newborn Babies
Please remember that all newborn babies must be added to your insurance within the first 30 days following birth. Call Human Resources with the baby’s birth date and name, and come in to Human Resources complete the necessary paperwork.
