A beginner’s workshop for $25 per participant
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (March 13, 2018) – Learn the art of grafting fruit trees at one of two workshops on Saturday, April 7, at Show Low Public Library, 181 N. 9th Street. Choose from the morning session from 10 a.m. to noon or the afternoon session from 1 to 3 p.m. The workshop provides hands-on instructions to graft an apple tree, which the participant can take home, and information about propagation methods such as grafting, cuttings, and seed and plant selection. Cost is $25 per participant, which includes one apple root stock, a scion to graft, one roll of grafting tape and handouts. Grafting is an art that becomes more successful with practice.
