[ARCHIVED] Rawlings Family

Rawlings strong

Last week over the Thanksgiving holiday, the Rawlings family, who have lived and worked in our White Mountain Communities for years, suffered a great loss of three of their very young children when they were swept away by flood waters in the Tonto Basin area. The bodies of Austin and Colby, both five years old, were found, but the third, Willa, six years old, has not been recovered. Search efforts have been underway with hundreds of volunteers giving of their time to help in the search. Residents in the City of Show Low and in the White Mountain Communities mourn along with the Rawlings family as a result of this heartbreaking tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rawlings family as we unite to offer our support and love to them.

At the December 3 City Council meeting, Mayor Seymore paid tribute to the Rawlings. Please take a moment to view the video clip from the meeting. (Click for video)

Additionally, there are GoFundMe accounts set up for the Rawlings families if you wish to donate.
