    Bring your old electronics and used tires to recycle at the 11th Annual Free E-Waste & Waste Tire Recycling Event on Saturday, August 24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Navajo Country Penrod Facility--251 N. Penrod Rd. in Show Low. THIS IS FOR RESIDENTIAL DROP OFF ONLY! Items accepted include: TV's, monitors, computers, laptops, keyboards, printers, fax machines DVD/VCR players, stereos, speakers, microwaves, toasters, phones, chargers, batteries (non-vehicle), video games, controllers and cords. All size used tires are accepted, but, must be dismounted from rims. To schedule commercial drop off on Friday, August 23, please call 602-944-4151 by Friday, August 16. Fees may apply. This free event is brought to you by The City of Show Low, Town of Pinetop-Lakeside and Navajo County.

    Come join us at the 2nd Annual Show Low Battle of the Bands & Vans in Downtown Show Low. There will be 10 bands and 15 food vans that will be battling it out for your vote and cash prizes. There will also be a beer garden, shopping, free bounce house for the kids, free outdoor games and an obstacle course for dogs. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and get ready to enjoy great music, dancing & chillaxin' at the park sipping a cold beverage and eating some awesome food in the cool Arizona White Mountains!
