Arizona Game and Fish Department along with the City of Show Low will team up with Hatch Toyota for the 10th annual Kids Fishing Derby at Fool Hollow Lake in Show Low. Registration starts at 6 a.m. Participants can also pre-register at Hatch Toyota in Show Low through June 14 during business hours.
Arizona Game and Fish will have a limited number of fishing poles, tackle and bait available to borrow during the event. No fishing license is required during event hours when registered for the derby. The derby is only for kids up to 16 years of age, but anglers of all ages can fish without a license if they check in with Arizona Game and Fish Department at the event.
Johnny Johnson will again be the official weigh in master of the event. Prizes will be given to kids up to 16 years old catching the largest fish for their age group. The Show Low Main Street Farmer’s Market & Art Walk is celebrating its 10th season in 2019 and this will be our best season yet! The Market features produce, food products and arts & crafts from all over the Four Corners Region. You’ll find us in Festival Marketplace (where the card player statue is) and along Cooley Street in Downtown Show Low every Saturday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. from May 25 through September 28.
