There is a 1 year probationary period for new employees.
Arizona State Retirement SystemThe Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) program is mandatory for all full-time employees who are not certified police officers. This will cause a deduction of approximately 11.80% of employee gross wages. 11.64% is ASRS and .16% is Long Term Disability.
