100 Mile Challenge 2022


Continue 2022 with a healthy challenge for you and your family.  You can even bring the dog!

Adults, Seniors, Children:  

$6 per entry     $12 (includes t-shirt)

(includes swag for the first 150 participants at the Kick Off and entered into the Kick Off and weekly drawings)

Dogs:     $6 per entry     $12 (includes bandana)

REGISTRATION DATES 

February 1 - February 28

(late registration is March 1 - March 23)

If you register after February 28 we may not have your specific size t-shirt at the Kick Off event. We will get all registered individuals their correct sizes but there may be a delay while we order them. Thank you for your understanding, the t-shirts have to be ordered several weeks in advance.

CHALLENGE DATES

KICK OFF 

Wednesday, March 23 at Show Low City Park, Senior Field  4:00-6:00 p.m.  Achieve your official first mile with other 100 milers.  Walk or jog a mile around Show Low City Park (1.1 mile).  Swag to the first 150 participants and Kick Off prize(s) drawing. 

END CELEBRATION 

Monday, July 4 at the Show Low FreedomFest.  Gates open at 3:00 p.m. (turn in Log Sheet completed and signed by 4:00 p.m. at the City of Show Low designated booth).  End Celebration prizes and Grand prize(s) drawing will start at 4:15 p.m.  Sorry, no dogs are allowed on sports fields.

All (people and dog) Log Sheets must be turned in at the Show Low Family Aquatic Center, 1100 W. Deuce of Clubs before or on Friday, July 1 by 5:00 p.m. or at the Show Low FreedomFest Monday, July 4 by 4:00 p.m.  End Celebration prizes and The Grand Prize drawing will be held at the Show Low FreedomFest.  Show Low High School, 500 W. Old Linden Road, Show Low, AZ.

Are you ready to get up and move? Do you want to win prizes?  Walk, jog, run a mile a day for 100 days or participate in 20 minutes of continuous physical activity (swim, yoga, aerobics, ski, skateboarding, weightlifting etc.) it all counts as one mile! Get creative and remember it’s all about having fun while making a lifestyle change!  The program is self-reporting; you are accountable for tracking your own miles. You can simply do one mile a day or you can complete 2 miles one day and take a break the next – the goal is to complete 100 miles (or more) in 100 days, it’s all up to you.  200 miles if you’re cycling or horseback riding. 

You may register as an individual or as part of a group in our Group Participation Challenge.

The Group Challenge is to form a group in one of the four categories: School, Senior Center, Community Group, Business Group or Show Low Government Department. Register as many participants as possible in your group. Give your group a unique name and participants must enter that name when they register. Anyone can be in your group; friends, family, neighbors, etc. Recruit as many as possible to register and complete the challenge!  Call (928) 532-4142 to have your group name entered into the system before registration.  Get a group of 20 or more and get your own banner with the groups name and a motivational saying.  Banners will be hung at the Kick Off Event, then hung on the Senior Field Fence by the path for the whole 100 days!

All registered paid participants are automatically eligible to win weekly prizes.  Weekly prize winners will be randomly drawn each Thursday, and winners announced via our website showlowaz.gov. To claim your prize throughout the challenge, you must provide your log sheet at the Family Aquatic Center, 1100 W. Deuce of Clubs, Show Low. Winners must claim their prize within 1 week of winning date or another name will be drawn. To be entered into the Grand Prize drawing(s) you must provide a completed and signed log sheet at the End Celebration that will be held on Monday, July 4. We will accept log sheets at the Family Aquatic Center until Friday , July 1, until 5 p.m. or at the End Celebration at Show Low FreedomFest between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. Drawing will be held Monday, July 4 at 4:15 p.m. Sorry, no dogs are allowed on sports fields.
