SHOW LOW, Ariz. (July 24, 2015) – Show Low Public Library now offers access to a
live, online tutoring service open to all ages that provides one-on-one help to students
and job seekers from professional tutors — for free. Any Show Low Public Library
cardholder can access tutor.com from the library or from home on any computer or
mobile device connected to the Internet. Services through the online K-12 Student
Center, College Center and Adult Career Center include a real-time writing center and
24/7 access to worksheets, videos and tutorials in most subjects. Live tutoring and
résumé writing services are available 361 days a year from 3 to 10 p.m.
“This new service meets our library’s mission to deliver high-quality resources
and tools for all ages,” said City Manager Ed Muder. “We’re especially excited about the
Adult Career Center, which gives job seekers access to résumé templates, cover letter
samples and online job search tools — all critical to advancing our local economy and
enhancing our quality of life.”
Students of all ages and job seekers can visit the library’s website and look for
tutor.com, which has a network of over 2,500 professional academic and career tutors
