Arizona Department of Revenue program offered from Sept. 1 to Nov. 2
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (September 10, 2015) – The City of Show Low has been notified that Arizona taxpayers who need to file back taxes can do so without civil penalties or interest from Sept. 1 to Nov. 2, 2015. The tax recovery program, provided by the Arizona Department of Revenue, is a limited-time offer to individual and corporate taxpayers that under-reported or failed to file returns and pay their taxes. Taxes include income tax (individual, corporate and fiduciary), transaction privilege (sales) tax and use tax. Audit assessments and collection notices may also qualify for relief under this program.
Tax recovery applications must be received by the Arizona Department of Revenue between Sept. 1 and Nov. 2, with all tax liability paid with the application. Taxpayers who meet all the requirements will pay no interest and have no civil penalties imposed.
Taxes paid by our citizens and businesses fund a broad range of programs that help all Arizonans from young to old, such as public safety, public health, education, roads and bridges, parks and outdoor activities.
