SHOW LOW, Ariz. (June 15, 2016) – Due to the Cedar Creek Fire south of Show Low and in conjunction with emergency services managers in Navajo County and other jurisdictions within the county, Show Low Police Chief Joe Shelley has issued a pre-evacuation notice for the residents of the City of Show Low. Pre-evacuation notices are being issued for Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, Fort Apache, Hon-Dah and McNary. Prepare yourself and your family with emergency supplies, including prescription medications, fresh drinking water, non-perishable food and clothing. Further details will be issued should an evacuation be called. Please remain calm and listen to any instructions given by law enforcement personnel. Be prepared to evacuate on short notice.
