[ARCHIVED] Essential Air Service at Show Low Regional Airport

Boutique Air to continue providing essential air service in Show Low

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (June 28, 2016) – The United States Department of Transportation has issued an order reselecting Boutique Airlines as the Essential Air Service (EAS) provider at the Show Low Regional Airport for a two -year term from June 8, 2016, through June 30, 2018.

The Department originally selected Boutique Air to provide EAS at Show Low for two years from May 2016 through April 2017. Boutique Air has been providing 12 weekly nonstop round trips during off-peak periods and 18 weekly nonstop round trips during the remainder of the year.

The Department requested proposals from air carriers interested in providing EAS at Show Low, with responses from Boutique Air, Great Lakes Airlines, and Sunrise Air. After reviewing each air carrier’s proposal, the Department has decided to reselect Boutique to provide EAS at Show Low. The airline has successfully operated at Show Low for nearly a year, and the community is pleased with the service.

Boutique will provide 18 weekly nonstop round trips to Phoenix Sky Harbor using an eight- or nine-passenger Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. The Department finds the service levels reasonable and believes that Boutique Air will meet the EAS needs of the community.
