2016 parade theme was “America the Beautiful.”
Show Low, AZ (July 5, 2016) – Show Low’s Fourth of July parade honored our nation this year with the theme, “America the Beautiful.” There were 89 parade entries, pleasing the crowd with a fantastic display and variety of floats. With so many to choose from, it was not an easy decision for the judges. Heartiest congratulations to this year’s winners: Show Low Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who won the Judges’ Choice award and a $500 cash prize; Liberty Fence, who received the Best Use of Theme award and a $300 cash prize; and Rodeo Log Works, who won the Best Display of Patriotism award and a $300 cash prize. The City of Show Low thanks everyone who participated in the parade and thanks the community for their support, which made this year’s Fourth of July a truly memorable celebration.
