[ARCHIVED] Show Low Main Street Spooktacular Festival Coming Oct. 29

Halloween-themed festival is fun for the entire family!

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (October 3, 2016) – Celebrate Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the seventh annual Spooktacular Festival, free and open to the public, from noon to 8 p.m. in downtown Show Low on Cooley and 9th Streets. The annual festival features the popular Trunk or Treat (a long tradition in Show Low), Power 95.7 Hot FM’s popular Scaryoke, Halloween-themed activities and games, pet and human costume contests, haunted house presented by Bilbie’s Interiors, a car bash, pumpkin bowling, hay rides and food and craft vendors. All-day live entertainment on the stage begins at noon and includes a concert by the Fools Hollow Band from 4 to 8 p.m. This is a safe and fun way for families and children of all ages in the White Mountains to enjoy Halloween.

Local businesses and organizations are invited to sponsor a trunk or booth (with no registration fees) to hand out candy and/or provide a kids’ activity or carnival-style game at no charge—a great way to market your business or organization and give back to the community at the same time. Participating businesses and organizations can compete for the Best Booth or Trunk to receive $100 cash, an award plaque, one-year custody of the traveling trophy with your name engraved on it and other promotional considerations. The Scariest and Funniest booth or trunk will each receive a $50 cash prize.

Vendors wishing to sell their products are also invited to participate, which provides exposure to several thousand potential customers who typically attend this event. Cost is $75 for food vendors and $25 for arts and crafts and product vendors.

For more information or to register a booth or trunk, call (928) 532-2680, e-mail dnorth@northstarbusinesscenter.com or visit www.showlowmainstreet.org/spooktacular.
