[ARCHIVED] Annual Project Clean Sweep in May and June

Our 19th annual Project Clean Sweep, the beautification program open to Show Low residents, kicks off in mid-May and runs into June. Participants must present proof of residency in Show Low — either a City of Show Low utility bill showing current refuse service or a valid driver’s license listing a physical address within the city limits.

You can dump green waste for free for two weeks at Dirty Deeds Green Waste at 890 Cinder Pit Road, from Monday, May 15, to Saturday, May 20, and again from Monday, May 22, to Saturday, May 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Then in June, from Monday, June 5, until Thursday, June 8, we offer bulky item pickup, with city employees picking up large unwanted items on a household’s regularly scheduled trash collection day.

From Monday, June 5, through Saturday, June 10, residents can haul debris for free to the Lone Pine Transfer Station from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A flyer with more detailed information is being distributed with the May utility bills. Call 532-4100 for more information.
