[ARCHIVED] Fall Bmx Racing Season Begins in September

All ages and bikes welcome

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (August 16, 2017) – Join the excitement as the fall BMX season kicks off in September at the Show Low BMX track at Nikolaus Homestead Park, 1001 E. Mills. All races are held on Saturday and are USA/BMX-sanctioned, with registration and a practice run from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and the races beginning as soon as racetrack preparations are completed. Here is September’s race lineup:

- Sept. 2, featuring the Western Grade, LLC/Western Material BMX Race (single-point)

- Sept. 9 (single-point race)

- Sept. 16, featuring the Miller Backhoe Service Race (single-point)

- Sept. 23 (single-point race)

- Sept. 30, featuring the Hatch Construction & Paving, Inc. Race (single-point)

There will be race classifications by age groups for novice, intermediate and expert riders. Cost per participant is $10 per race classification. If you have never raced before, there is a one-day FREE introductory membership available to give you the chance to experience the sport. Loaner bikes and helmets will be available.
