SHOW LOW, Ariz. (August 29, 2017) – The free ninth annual region-wide electronic waste recycling event held in Show Low on August 26 proved its popularity yet again with area residents. This year, waste tires were also accepted. Results show 317 vehicles from across northeastern Arizona dropped off 23,502 pounds of electronic waste and 257 waste tires. Over the past nine years, this event has proven to be one of the most successful in Arizona with a cumulative total of 580,161 pounds of electronic waste collected from 3,041 vehicles.
“We are pleased with the overwhelming support we continue to see that makes this event one of the most successful of its kind in the state,” said Show Low Mayor Daryl Seymore.
