Kids can enjoy dinner, then choose to watch a movie or play games
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (November 7, 2017) – Parents, want a free night to run errands, have a special date or some time for yourselves? The City of Show Low will entertain your kids, ages 5-11, on Friday, Dec. 15, at Kid’s Night Out, which features a dinner and movie or games from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Show Low City Campus Teen Center, 620 E. McNeil. The kids can enjoy macaroni and cheese then settle down and watch the fun Christmas-themed movie, Toy Story 3 (an animated adventure/comedy released in 2010). Kids who are not interested in the movie are given the option to play games instead. Cost is $10 per child, which includes a drink, dinner, popcorn and candy. Pre-registration is required, with a deadline of Friday, Dec. 8. Hurry, space is limited and fills up fast.
Toy Story 3 follows the adventures of a group of toys, including Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and Jessie (Joan Cusack), as their beloved owner, Andy, prepares to leave for college. The toys are supposedly headed for storage in the attic but mistakenly wind up on the curb with the trash, eventually ending up in a day-care center. The toys are mistreated by the kids, so quick-thinking Woody and his pals devise a getaway plan.
