[ARCHIVED] Downtown Show Low Merchants Invited to Participate in Annual Holiday Decorating Contest

Winner receives a plaque and year-long custody of traveling trophy

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (November 16, 2017) – Downtown Show Low merchants are invited to decorate their storefronts with holiday decorations and lights by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, to compete in Show Low Main Street’s holiday decorating contest. Any business located within the Main Street area (either side of the Deuce of Clubs between Old Linden Road and Show Low Creek Bridge; either side of White Mountain Road between the Deuce of Clubs and Huning Street; and the area bounded by the Deuce of Clubs, White Mountain Road, Huning/McNeil Streets and 6th Street) is eligible to participate, with no registration required. Storefront decorations must include holiday lighting and be visible from the street; creativity is highly encouraged.


The winner will be announced on Power 95.7 Hot FM during a live remote at the Santa & the Shoppes on Gingerbread Lane event on Friday, Dec. 8. The winning business will receive a plaque, one-year custody of a traveling trophy and promotional considerations, including a media release and recognition on Show Low Main Street’s website and Facebook page.
