[ARCHIVED] Show Low Introduces Bmx Non-Sanctioned Races in May and June

Open to newcomers and experienced racers

 SHOW LOW, Ariz. (April 2, 2018) – New to Show Low’s BMX scene is non-sanctioned races, with no membership fee and only $5 per rider per racing session, which includes a half-hour practice, two runs and then the main race at Show Low BMX track at Nikolaus Homestead Park, 1001 E. Mills. Races, run like sanctioned races, are open to novice and experienced BMX racers. Race dates in May are on Fridays on May 4, 11 and 18, with check-in and practice at 5:30 to 6 p.m., followed by the races. Race dates in June are on Fridays on June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 with check-in and practice at 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the races. All ages and bikes are welcome. Helmets are mandatory and pegs and kickstands must be removed before racing. Pre-registration is required at www.activityreg.com, Show Low City Hall’s recreation desk at 180 N. 9th Street or Family Aquatic Center at 1100 W. Deuce of Clubs.
