[ARCHIVED] Learn Basic to Advanced Babysitting Skills this Summer

Become the most sought-after babysitter in your area!

SHOW LOW, Ariz. May 7, 2018) – Teens and pre-teens can learn basic to advanced babysitting skills and techniques in a two-day class, June 12 and 13, from Babysitter’s Magic Backpack (BMB) creator, Melissa King. For $50 (including supplies, BMB instructional manual and certificate of completion), youth ages 10 to 17 will have fun in this informative session from 1:30 to 4 p.m. each day at the Show Low Teen Center, 620 E. McNeil.


Learn the step-by-step basics of childcare and safety plus valuable Magic Backpack techniques to entertain children, promotion methods to find babysitting jobs, money management and recordkeeping tips, and turning babysitting into a profitable, successful business. Participants will learn what it takes to be professional and organized and, ultimately, how to become the most popular babysitter in the area.


Class sizes are limited; early registration is highly recommended. The first 25 to register will receive a free BMB backpack.
