[ARCHIVED] May 19 BMX Race for Life Supports Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Join other racers to support this worthy cause

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (May 8, 2018) – BMX racers of all ages are invited to enter the Race for Life on Saturday, May 19, at the Show Low BMX track at Nikolaus Homestead Park, 1001 E. Mills, for $10 per racer. Registration and practice is from 3 to 4 p.m., with the race immediately following. No membership is required.

The annual Race for Life is held to commemorate BMX racer Todd Kingsbury, who lost his life to blood cancer. Since his passing, USA BMX has supported efforts to prevent others from losing their life to this terrible disease by dedicating one day each season at BMX tracks across the country to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Proceeds support cancer patients and fund finding new cures for blood cancers. For more information, call (928) 532-4140.
