Film showcases a year in the life of two mother bears and their cubs
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (May 15, 2018) – The free Movie in the Park of the nature documentary, Disneynature’s “Bears,” is rescheduled to Friday, May 25, beginning at 8 p.m. at Frontier Fields, 660 N. 9th Place, in Show Low. The film, originally scheduled to air on May 11, was canceled because of high winds. “Bears” follows two mother bears sharing life lessons with their impressionable young cubs over the span of a year, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Alaska. The film proves that mothers know best as their cubs' survival hinges on family togetherness. Bring your blankets and camp chairs and experience the fun of watching a movie under the stars. Beverages and delicious treats will be available for purchase. Attendees are asked to help keep Frontier Fields clean by using the trash receptacles provided.
