Learn to make beautiful necklaces and bracelets
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (May 23, 2018) – Children, ages 4 to 8 years, and adults can learn to make simple, beautiful jewelry on Friday, June 8, in two separate sessions at Show Low Public Library, 181 N. 9th Street. The adult session runs from 10 a.m. to noon and the kids’ session is from 1 to 3 p.m. Make necklaces or bracelets using chains, jewelry findings and a large variety of beads in different sizes, colors and shapes. Both are free events, with materials for the kids’ session provided by the Giggling Gwen Foundation. The adult session is a project supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
