$1,000 cash prize
SHOWLOW, Ariz. (September 5, 2018) – Local favorite “One Eye High” was voted the
best band and “HIbachibotKorean BBQ” of Cave Creek (Ariz.) was voted the best food van at the Show Low
Battle of the Bands & Vans held September 1 at Frontier Fields. Both werechosen by audience vote from among a field of seven bands and seven food vans,
with each winning a $1,000 cash prize and trophy. Bands “Planting Seedz” and “BrighterStill” placed second and third, respectively, and received trophies. “Different
Smokes BBQ” and “The Bearded Man’s Breakfast Van” placed second and third inthe food van competition and received trophies.

than 2,000 revelers enjoyed this inaugural event presented by Show Low MainStreet and Medieval Mayhem Historical Arts Foundation. Plans have begun for the
