[ARCHIVED] Celebrate Teen Read Week Oct. 8-12 at Show Low Library

Events and activities focus on this year’s theme, ‘It’s Written in the Stars’

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (September 25, 2018) – Celebrate National Teen Read Week from Monday, Oct. 8, through Friday, Oct. 12, for ages 12 to 18 years old at Show Low Public Library, 181 N. 9th Street, with activities revolving around this year’s theme, “It’s Written in the Stars.” Tuesday, Oct. 9, teens create galaxy paintings from 3 to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, teens share their dreams and goals and create an inspirational quote using a die-cut machine from 3 to 4 p.m. as part of the Reach for the Stars program; Thursday is “out of this world” jewelry-making from 3 to 4 p.m.; and Friday, from 6:15 to 8 p.m., library staff hosts a Space Invaders Nerf Night for the teens.
