[ARCHIVED] Get on Board the Annual ‘Polar Express’ on Dec. 21

Show Low Public Library hosts third annual holiday event

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (November 28, 2018) – Get in the holiday spirit and board the third annual “Polar Express” with a reading of this classic Christmas story by Show Low Police Chief Joe Shelley  and Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District Chief Bryan Savage on Friday, Dec. 21, at Show Low Public Library, 181 N. 9th Street. A magical evening awaits with special surprises along the way, including a visit from Santa bearing a special gift for all children ages 12 years and younger.

The event is free, but keepsake Polar Express tickets for each child are required. The readings will be presented in three half-hour sessions at 6:15 p.m., 6:45 p.m. or 7:15 p.m. Tickets will be available beginning Saturday, Dec. 1, and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Everyone is asked to arrive 15 minutes before each session as seating is limited. The kids can complete the magical experience with a cup of hot chocolate and a delicious Christmas cookie to enjoy on the way home.

This memorable Christmas event is not to be missed! For more information, call the library at (928) 532-4070.
