[ARCHIVED] Robotics Club Informational Meeting on Feb. 8 for Parents and Children at Show Low Library

Parent or guardian must attend with interested child

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (January 24, 2019) – Boys and girls, ages 9 to 13 years old, interested in joining a Robotics Club must attend an informational meeting, accompanied by a parent or guardian, on Friday, Feb. 8, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the computer lab at Show Low Public Library, 181 N. 9th Street. The club is a year old and ready for a new year and new participants. Sixteen lucky attendees will be randomly selected to be in the 2019 Robotics Club. Come learn about the new Robotics Club that uses ROBOTC (a text-based programming language) to program and build virtual and physical robots. The physical robots will be designed and built by teams of three or four using VEX IQ robot kits. Club members will work towards competing in the White Mountain robotic competitions held in December and February. For more information, visit the library or call (928) 532-4070.
