A book club for Valentine’s murder mystery

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (February 8, 2019) – The monthly “Cook the Books” club for adults (18 years and older) who would enjoy a Valentine’s murder mystery will meet Monday, Feb. 25, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the meeting room at Show Low Public Library, 181 N. 9th Street. The mystery is “Buttercream Bump Off” by Jenn McKinlay, a novel in the “Cupcake Bakery” series featuring cupcakes, murder and some toe-curling romance. Check out and read the book before the Feb. 25 meeting, then meet with fellow readers to discuss the book and enjoy a delicious edible tied to the story. No registration is required.
