A healthy challenge for you and your family–You can even bring the dog!
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (March 25, 2019) – Are you ready to get up and move, win prizes, or make a lifestyle change while having fun? Register from March 8 through May 10 to participate in the Community 100-Mile Challenge by walking, jogging or running a mile a day or participating in 20 minutes of continuous physical activity (bike, swim, yoga, aerobics, ski, weightlifting etc.) each day for 100 days.
Entry fee for adults, seniors, and children is $6 per person (includes t-shirt at the end of the challenge) and $6 for dogs (includes bandana). Individuals or groups may participate. The challenge begins May 30 and continues through September 6, with a kick-off event on Thursday, May 30, at Show Low City Park, Senior Field, 1100 W. Deuce of Clubs, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., ending with a celebration Saturday, September 7, at Show Low City Park from 3 to 8 p.m. during the Concert in the Park.
