[ARCHIVED] Pee Wee T-Ball Teaches Boys and Girls Sport of Baseball

Twice-weekly games begin in June

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (May 4, 2015) – Introduce your youngster—boy or girl, ages 3 to 5 years old—to the sport of baseball in a fun and noncompetitive atmosphere through Pee Wee T-Ball in June. Kids learn the basics of throwing, catching and batting while enjoying the excitement of the game twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the City Campus fields, 520 E. McNeil. A team t-shirt is included with registration for $35 per player, but players need to provide their own gloves. Register online at showlowaz.gov\recreation through May 31, with games tentatively scheduled to begin June 10. Volunteer coaches are needed and invited to call (928) 532-4140. Registrations during normal business hours will also be accepted at the Show Low Parks and Recreation department at City Hall, 180 N. 9th Street, or at the Family Aquatic Center, 1100 W.
