For gatherings of more than 50 people
SHOW LOW, Ariz. (December 3, 2020) – Per Executive Order 2020-59 issued by Governor Doug Ducey, all organized public events of more than 50 people are prohibited unless a city, town or county has determined that adequate safety measures, which are consistent with the guidance issued by both the Center for Disease Control and Arizona Department of Health Services for mitigating the spread of the COVID-19 are documented as part of the request. The organizer of the event must commit to implementation and enforcement of the safety measures. The City of Show Low may deny a request for an organized public event due to public health concerns related to COVID-19. Special Event applications will be accepted and processed without this plan, however, until such time as this order is lifted or modified, this plan must be approved and in place prior to the event taking place. An application is available on the City’s website or at City Hall to apply for the event. If there are any questions, you may call Justen Tregaskes, Planning and Zoning Director at (928) 532-4041.
