[ARCHIVED] Residential trash collection delayed by two days this week due to inclement weather

Polycarts should be put out two days later than normally scheduled

SHOW LOW, Ariz. (Jan. 26, 2021) – Waste Management’s service scheduled for the City of Show Low’s residential customers has been delayed by TWO days this week due to inclement weather conditions. Waste Management did not collect trash and recycle yesterday (Monday, Jan. 25) and will NOT collect again today (Tuesday, Jan. 26). As a result all trash/recycle collections will be delayed by two days (this week only) unless further delays and winter conditions are experienced. If further delays are warranted, residents will be notified. The revised trash/recycle schedule for this week only is as follows:

Monday will be picked up on Wednesday

Tuesday will be picked up on Thursday

Wednesday will be picked up on Friday

Thursday will be picked up on Saturday

Residential customers are asked to place their polycarts at curbside by 6:00 a.m. Carts should be positioned four feet from any other objects, including fences, mailboxes, parked vehicles and other carts, so that it can be serviced safely. Please feel free to contact the City of Show Low at (928) 532-4000 should you have any questions.
