Apache Indian Reservation G22 Fire 




On April 5, 2021 the United States Department of the Interior issued a press release regarding the status of the G22 wildfire that was started on April 4, 2021.



The G22 fire is located 10 miles northwest of Cibecue and is burning within the Rodeo-Chediski burned area south of Spring Ridge.  At this time the fire is 0.0% contained and has consumed 70 acres.  A red flag warning has been issued for today in the fire area until 7:00 p.m. tonight.  Another information release will be issued for any changes in the status of the G22 fire.  


As always we encourage all of our residents and visitors to be cautious during the wildfire season and abide by any fire restrictions that may be in place.  For up-to-date information on wildfire statuses and burning restrictions visit:
