Ready, Set, Go & What They Mean

Prepare now for emergencies! Citizens and visitors of Navajo County should be prepared at all times for any disaster. As wildfire season approaches there are things everyone can do to be READY!

Build a kit — have supplies, water, medication and important documents ready to go. Don’t forget to plan for the needs of your pet(s)!

Make a plan — families and businesses should have a plan for evacuation. Prepare your home — create a defensible space around your home to help protect it and your family.

Check on others — elderly family or neighbors might need assistance. Talk to them ahead of time and find out what you can do to help

Make sure you and your family have reviewed your emergency plans, contact information and meeting places. Stay aware of the latest news and information on the fire from local media, your local fire department and public safety officials.
