Background:
The City has received an increasing number of requests for potable water bulk sales from both bulk water haulers and private parties. In order to address this demand the City purchased and installed a bulk water dispensing facility. Bulk water customers will be able to purchase water using a credit card or an account code. This water will be potable at the delivery point. The City will not be liable for any contamination that occurs after being dispensed at the delivery point. The facility is not for use by pesticide or any other chemical application devices.
The new fee will be a minimum of $15.00 for each 1,000 gallons or less (example: 1,500 gallons = $30.00, 500 gallons = $15.00) The purchaser will also be responsible for paying any card user fees and sales tax. The fees are also subject to annual Consumer Price Index fees.
The new fee will be imposed pursuant to Section 2.35.010 of the Show Low City Code. If passed, the new fee will be effective July 17, 2025.
